Delete your account and data
Sankofa is offline-first. Your journey lives on your own device. An account is entirely optional - it exists only so you can carry your progress to a new phone.
Delete everything, from inside the app
This is the fastest way, and it erases both your device and our server in one step:
- Open Sankofa: Finance Heroes
- Go to Me › Account
- Tap Delete my account
- Tap Yes, delete everything to confirm
Deletion happens immediately. Your username, your progress and your cloud backup are erased, and your username is released for anyone else to take. There is no undo.
If you no longer have the app
Uninstalling Sankofa already removes everything held on that device. If you also created a save code, a small backup may still sit on our server. Email us to remove it:
- Email danieladaji@dandengrp.com
- Subject: Delete my Sankofa account
- Include the username you played under (that is all we need, because we hold nothing else that could identify you)
We delete the record within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What gets deleted
- Your username
- Your net worth, level and chosen hero, the only progress values that sync
- Your save backup, if you created a save code
- Everything stored on your device: profile, progress, lessons, settings
The record is removed in full. Nothing is retained afterwards, and we keep no backups or archived copies of it.
What we never had in the first place
We do not collect your real name, email address, date of birth, age, phone number, location, photos, contacts or any financial information. Your age never leaves your device. There is nothing else of yours for us to delete.
